After spending 12 years teaching in multi-aged classrooms, Vicki joined Sunrise in 2007.  She holds an elementary teaching credential from San Francisco State, has International Baccalaureate Training, and technology in education training.  A mother of four, Vicki enjoys swing dance, brain science, and theater. Vicki continues to gain valuable knowledge through her continued professional development at the North American Montessori Center.

Kathy began at Sunrise in 1981 as a lower elementary teacher after receiving her BA from Fresno State, a California teaching credential from Sonoma State, and a 6-12 Montessori Certificate from the Montessori Teacher Training Center. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, reading, and cooking.

Jan first started with Sunrise in 1982, left to teach at One World Montessori in San Jose for ten years, and returned to our school in 2006 to assist in the upper elementary classroom.  She has a teaching credential in early childhood education, and has received her Montessori training.  Jan is active in her family's winery, Ilsley Vineyards.

Before joining Sunrise in 2002, Wendy taught Kindergarten and First Grade at Saint Peter's Catholic School in San Francisco.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from the University of the Pacific and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. Her twin boys, Colin and Liam, are students at Sunrise.

Katherine retired from the Napa Valley Unified School District after over twenty years of service in special education. Prior to becoming a Science teacher in the Sequoia class, Katherine assisted in the preschool program.  An accomplished violinist, Katherine currently performs with the Solano Symphony.
